Hello and welcome to my UHP showcase page! My name is Jared and I’m going into my senior year at UC, studying Economics, Real Estate and Information Systems.
Over my years at UC I’ve had a few different internship experiences, and by far the most influential for me was my experience with Student Painters. Through this internship I discovered my love for entrepreneurship, real estate and working with people. After two summers with Student Painters I did a semester at Lubrizol working in IT. I loved the people I worked with, and learned a lot of technical scripting knowledge, however I found myself missing being out and about, making my own schedule, meeting new customers and managing my team.
Immediately after finishing my semester at Lubrizol, I hit the ground running with my exterior cleaning company, Respawn Cleaning. We are a startup that does exterior cleaning services, such as power washing, soft washing and window cleaning. When the winter hits we may transition to interior work like carpet cleaning and interior painting. I went into business with two close friends, who I have been mentoring throughout the process. It’s been a blast riding the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship with them, and I’m extremely excited to see where we can take this company.
Beyond this, I’ve just finished all of the Real Estate Salesperson courses through Hondros College and will be taking my license exam soon. I’m not sure how much time I’ll be able to commit to real estate sales, however I figured it will be helpful to have my license and open that door for myself and any future endeavors. I’ll be returning to class this fall and plan on finishing up school this spring!
